congratulations dani and ricky, and welcome to calista dawn! you are so natural with her, as though you've been a family forever. she is beautiful with her downy soft skin and perfect little lips. such a sweet baby and we wish you the best of everything with and for her!

Hey everyone! This summer froze a month with my mama being in the hospital (hip and muscle surgeries and pneumonia!!) and I didn't want to leave her side for a moment. Then the page turned to August and I was reminded by all of my loved ones (hmmm) that I had a birthday on the 9th. Instead of wasting any time dreading or reflecting, I decided to take my own advice to my clients and that is to "celebrate me" (or celebrate "you"). I allowed my partner, Michael to make some fun images of me, acting like I was reveling in the aftermath of a shopping frenzy. (acting, yes!) Luckily, I had saved all the bags from Victoria's Secret that my daughters and I had e v e r accumulated and it made for a neat stage set. I admit, it is very hard for me to be on that side of the camera. But, Michael has photographed numerous models and of course, our precious  clients, so that helped! Thank you to everyone who have been gracious enough to let my daughters brag about their mom, for awhile, LOL.
I encourage YOU all to come to our studio and play with our toys. We have tons of props and costumes and backgrounds and of course, our back studio with the woods, barn and graffiti walls.

some people are just naturals!

oh!!! how we enjoyed our session with lovely lisa this past weekend. it totally made up for having to drive 2 hours to get to the wedding we photographed on saturday, ...and being able to look forward to a model shoot on sunday. this young lady is a NATURAL. the camera loves her and so do we; she was so sweet and her peaceful spirit shined through. we love to connect to our subjects and have that show in the images we make. thank you, lovely lisa!

Brittany and TJ

Our sweet bride, Brittany, kept her composure throughout all the last minute angst of rainclouds and gusty winds and gown and flower scares, with the constant reassurance of her sweet groom, TJ. They had an incredible task force, from the perfect maid of honor, Amy, to the passionate and comforting pastor, Chris. The gazillion hours of tlc that Brittany put into making all of her centerpieces, decorations and boutineers truly paid off. It looked elegant with elements of shabby chic. From the 100+ year old bible to the fun photo booth across the lobby from it, from the special parental blessings during the ceremony to the exquisite and delicious cake, there was nothing left to chance. Lots of love flowed and our couple just glowed. They danced to the wee end of their party, until it was just the two of them left to boogie. Sparklers guided their exit to the 1967 Camaro RS that awaited their departure. We wish them all the best life has to offer♥
